The Studio Recipe Challenge

Hi All!

I was flattered to be asked to guest design for The Studio this month and their first March challenge was a recipe.

Here's what I did

I've been playing with my DLSR lately, trying to get off auto and use manual. Man but I've got a long way to go with that! I was quite pleased with these rather over exposed images that I got of DS3 in the end, his eyes look nice and sparkly and his hat looks so cute!

I enjoyed creating the layout too, I've had a tag from a Christmas gift that I've been saving because I knew I wanted to put it onto a page, it was pre distressed, embroidered and printed with cool phrases, It's almost worth getting a new top to get another tag, lol!

Lots of layers again, just love how this makes my pages look, got all trendy with arrows and vellum too, nothing's to good for my l'il son shine eh?

Thanks for visiting! I'll be back soon with more for the studio. Hope you have a chance to play along too xx

Uniquely You, just for me

Hi Folks!

I haven't posted anything for a while but I have been crafting, I made some more samples for the recent NEC trade show, never got around to taking any pics though!

I was glad to get back to some scrapping and having taken delivery of some rather splendid papers from that rather splendid paper company ILS I really wanted to create. My love affair is such that actually cutting into said papers almost caused me physical pain! I've come to the conclusion though that there's really no point in 'saving' special stash,we buy it because we love it and want to use it, so flippin' well use it girlfriends!!! True Dat... :D

enough ghetto speak, I'm far too old. Onto what you've really come for, the layout...

there's actually a mix of PPs used here, both new stash and old, some very old that I've been hanging onto because it's 'special', well no more I tell you!

I think you've got the point now.

Thanks for visiting! Do drop me a note so I know you've been, I love knowing who's come by to take a peek!
